Work Permit Application Requirements
A company must be legally registered in Thailand
The job position, duties, and responsibilities must be clearly defined
The job position must be appropriate for the company’s business type and the applicant’s qualifications
The applicant must hold a Non-Immigrant Visa (Category B) before applying for a Work Permit
Criteria Considered by Government Authorities
The company’s registered capital is typically 2,000,000 THB per foreign employee
The general ratio requirement is at least 4 Thai employees per 1 foreign employee
The salary of foreign employees is generally not less than 50,000 THB per month (depending on nationality and position)
The job position must be appropriate for the company structure and nature of the business
